Project Overview

eStruxture’s Montreal Campus is the largest Canadian-owned carrier-neutral data center ecosystem in Québec, providing more than 100 MW of total critical IT capacity across five strategically interconnected facilities (MTL-1 through MTL-5). Located within one of North America’s fastest-growing digital infrastructure markets, the campus serves as a major hub for hyperscale cloud providers, enterprises, artificial intelligence (AI), and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. Its flagship facilities, including MTL-2, which delivers 30 MW across 187,000 square feet, and MTL-3 in Boucherville, offering an additional 30 MW, provide highly scalable colocation environments designed to support both wholesale and retail deployments. A key competitive advantage of the Montreal Campus is its access to Hydro-Québec’s electricity grid, which is powered by more than 99% renewable hydroelectric energy, enabling customers to benefit from some of the most competitive power rates in North America while significantly reducing the carbon footprint of their IT operations. Purpose-built to accommodate next-generation AI, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure, the campus supports high-density rack deployments with advanced cooling and resilient power systems.
