Project Overview
NAVER Gak Sejong is a 270 MW flagship hyperscale artificial intelligence data center developed by NAVER Corporation in Sejong, South Korea, representing a major investment in the country’s next-generation digital infrastructure. Spanning approximately 294,000 m², the campus is designed to support the rapidly expanding computational requirements of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and high-performance computing workloads. The facility is purpose-built to support NAVER’s HyperCLOVA X generative AI models, enabling large-scale model training, inference, and other advanced AI applications that require substantial computing capacity and specialized infrastructure. In addition to AI workloads, the campus supports NAVER’s broader cloud operations and high-performance supercomputing requirements, creating an integrated environment capable of handling diverse enterprise and digital services. A major component of the development is its extensive storage infrastructure, with a reported capacity of approximately 65 exabytes, enabling the facility to manage enormous volumes of data generated by AI models, cloud applications, and digital platforms.
