Valued at approximately A$7 billion, this facility is the central pillar of the "OpenAI for Australia" initiative, marking the company's first major infrastructure investment in the Asia-Pacific region. The campus will eventually host up to 550 megawatts (MW) of IT load, which would make it one of the largest single data center sites in the world.
