ODATA ST02 Santiago Data Center: 40.6MW Hyperscale Campus Chile
Status: Operational / Active Expansion | Location: San Bernardo, Metropolitan Region, Santiago, Chile
Project Overview
ODATA’s ST02 (SCL2) Data Center Campus in San Bernardo, Santiago, is one of the largest hyperscale digital infrastructure facilities in southern Santiago, strategically positioned to support Chile’s rapidly expanding cloud and digital services market. Delivering up to 40.6 MW of critical IT capacity within a purpose-built 366,000-square-foot facility, the campus is designed to accommodate hyperscale cloud providers, enterprise colocation customers, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. Its scalable architecture enables customers to deploy large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure while maintaining the flexibility required for future expansion and increasing compute demands. A key feature of ST02 is its dedicated 60 MVA on-site electrical substation with dual utility feeds, providing resilient, high-capacity power infrastructure capable of supporting continuous operations and high-density computing environments. The facility also incorporates Aligned’s proprietary Delta³ cooling technology, delivering highly efficient thermal management while supporting high rack power densities required for next-generation GPU clusters and AI applications. This advanced cooling system enhances energy efficiency, improves operational performance, and enables customers to deploy increasingly power-intensive workloads without compromising reliability. Designed with resilient power systems, enterprise-grade physical security, and modern network infrastructure, ST02 offers a highly available platform for cloud, enterprise, and data-intensive applications. Its strategic location within the Santiago metropolitan region also provides excellent connectivity to Chile’s national telecommunications networks and international digital infrastructure, making ODATA’s ST02 a future-ready hyperscale campus that supports digital transformation, cloud adoption, and AI-driven innovation across Chile and the wider South American market.
