Paris Digital Park: 130MW Hyperscale AI & Cloud Campus
Status: Operational / Phased Expansion (April 2026) | Location: 12-14 Rue de la Gare, 93120 La Courneuve, France
Project Overview
As of April 2026, the Paris Digital Park has become a foundational pillar of France’s digital infrastructure and a central engine for the country’s rapidly expanding cloud and AI economy. Operated within Digital Realty’s Paris portfolio, the four-building campus PAR8, PAR9, PAR10, and PAR11 forms a tightly integrated hyperscale cluster engineered for extreme compute density and long-term scalability. Situated in the strategically important La Courneuve district, the site benefits from proximity to major fiber corridors and metropolitan transport routes, reinforcing its role as the most interconnected data center campus in France.
Architecturally, the campus is built around modular high-density power blocks designed to support next-generation workloads, including sovereign AI training environments and large-scale cloud-native applications. Advanced cooling systems, optimized airflow designs, and efficiency-focused electrical distribution allow the campus to maintain a competitive power usage effectiveness (PUE) even under sustained high utilization. Connectivity is a defining advantage: direct integration with France-IX and access to more than 100 carriers enable ultra-low-latency peering and resilient multi-network routing across Europe.
Beyond its technical capabilities, the Paris Digital Park plays a strategic national role as a “sovereign anchor” for French government, regulated industries, and financial institutions, ensuring that sensitive workloads remain within jurisdictional boundaries inside the Paris metro fiber ring. This combination of scale, connectivity, and regulatory alignment positions the campus as a critical foundation for France’s digital sovereignty and its participation in the broader European cloud ecosystem.
