The QTS Hillsboro 1 DC1 Data Center is the inaugural 158,000-square-foot flagship facility developed on QTS Data Centers’ original 92-acre mega-scale campus at 4951 NE Huffman Street in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA. Designed to support high-density hyperscale, enterprise, cloud, and artificial intelligence computing environments, DC1 provides approximately 24 MW of critical IT capacity across roughly 85,000 square feet of raised-floor space. The facility occupies a strategically important position within Hillsboro’s established “Silicon Forest” technology corridor, one of the Pacific Northwest’s most significant concentrations of data centers, telecommunications infrastructure, cloud platforms, and technology companies. As an early large-scale data center development in the Hillsboro market to operate using renewable electricity supplied through Portland General Electric, the facility benefits from Oregon’s substantial hydroelectric generation resources and the region’s growing emphasis on lower-carbon digital infrastructure.
