The QTS Hillsboro 2 Campus is a flagship 51-acre hyperscale data center park operated by QTS Data Centers at 4755 NE Huffman Street in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA. Located within Oregon’s renowned “Silicon Forest” technology corridor, the campus serves as a major connectivity and computing node within QTS’s Pacific Northwest infrastructure portfolio. The master-planned campus is designed to provide more than 180 MW of critical IT capacity across multiple high-density data center facilities, creating a scalable platform for hyperscale deployments, cloud service providers, enterprise customers, and advanced artificial intelligence workloads. Its large-scale design enables QTS to accommodate customers requiring substantial computing capacity while supporting phased expansion as demand for cloud services, AI infrastructure, and high-performance computing continues to increase. The campus benefits from Hillsboro’s established digital infrastructure ecosystem, which includes extensive fiber networks, telecommunications providers, cloud platforms, and major hyperscale and colocation facilities. Its strategic position on the Hillsboro Ring fiber network provides access to high-capacity regional connectivity and dark-fiber infrastructure, supporting low-latency communication with major network destinations and trans-Pacific subsea cable systems. The site also provides connectivity opportunities to regional peering exchanges and other critical network infrastructure, helping customers establish efficient connections with cloud and enterprise networks throughout the Pacific Northwest and West Coast. Electricity supplied through Portland General Electric further connects the campus to Oregon’s significant renewable energy resources, including hydroelectric generation, which contributes to the region’s appeal for energy-intensive computing facilities.
