Project Overview

The STACK Infrastructure POR02A Data Center is a high-density hyperscale colocation facility located at 8135 NE Evergreen Pkwy in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA. Positioned on STACK Infrastructure’s original 12-acre Hillsboro campus within Oregon’s established “Silicon Forest” technology corridor, POR02A was developed to support hyperscale cloud providers, enterprise customers, and high-performance computing environments requiring scalable and resilient digital infrastructure. The multi-story facility spans approximately 240,000 square feet and provides around 24 MW of critical IT load capacity, enabling customers to deploy substantial computing environments within a strategically located Pacific Northwest data center market. Its infrastructure is designed to accommodate high-density rack configurations and increasingly demanding workloads, including cloud computing, enterprise applications, accelerated computing, artificial intelligence, and HPC deployments. The facility’s Hillsboro location provides access to a mature ecosystem of telecommunications carriers, fiber networks, cloud platforms, and neighboring data center campuses, creating opportunities for efficient interconnection and network diversification. POR02A operates with access to electricity supplied by Portland General Electric, connecting the facility to Oregon’s substantial renewable energy resources and hydroelectric generation base. The site’s carrier-neutral connectivity further enhances its value for customers requiring flexible network options and direct access to regional telecommunications infrastructure. Its connectivity architecture provides links to the Hillsboro-area dark fiber network and broader Pacific Northwest network hubs, supporting efficient communication with cloud providers, enterprise networks, and long-distance fiber routes.
