Telehouse BKK1 Bangkok Data Center: 9.5MVA Interconnection Hub

Status: Operational   |   Location: 66 Rimklong Bangkapi Road, Bangkapi, Huai Khwang (Rama 9 Business District), Bangkok 10310, Thailand

Project Overview

Telehouse BKK1 is Telehouse’s flagship purpose-built interconnection data center in Thailand, strategically located in Bangkok’s Rama 9 central business district, one of the country’s fastest-growing technology and commercial hubs. Designed to serve as a leading connectivity gateway for Thailand and Southeast Asia, the three-story facility spans approximately 9,000 m² and delivers highly resilient colocation, cloud connectivity, and digital infrastructure services for hyperscale cloud providers, telecommunications operators, financial institutions, content delivery networks, and enterprise customers. Engineered with a strong focus on network resilience and carrier neutrality, BKK1 features four geographically diverse dark fiber entry routes and a unique level of structural redundancy within the Thai market ensuring exceptional network availability and business continuity. The campus is further supported by dual 2N power feeds supplied from two independent utility substations, redundant UPS systems, backup generators, and advanced monitoring technologies that provide continuous power for mission-critical workloads. Telehouse BKK1 also offers direct cloud on-ramps to major global cloud platforms and extensive interconnection services, enabling low-latency connectivity to domestic, regional, and international networks while supporting hybrid and multi-cloud deployments. The facility is designed to accommodate high-density colocation environments with energy-efficient cooling systems capable of supporting increasingly demanding AI, cloud, and enterprise applications. Sustainability is a key element of the campus, with operations powered by 100% renewable energy and supported by efficient infrastructure that reduces environmental impact. Combining resilient engineering, superior connectivity, and scalable infrastructure, Telehouse BKK1 strengthens Bangkok’s position as a premier digital gateway for Southeast Asia while providing a secure, future-ready platform for long-term digital transformation and regional growth.
