Tillman 1GW Hyperscale Data Center Complex Dholera
Status: Announced / Planning Stage | Location: Activation Zone, Dholera SIR, Gujarat, India
Project Overview
A massive $10 billion (approximately ₹83,000 crore) hyperscale data center complex is set to become one of India's largest digital infrastructure developments, positioning Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) as a major hub for AI and cloud computing. Serving as the cornerstone of Dholera's emerging "Digital Power Base," the project is being developed under the Viksit Gujarat Data Centre Policy 2026–29 to accelerate investments in next-generation digital infrastructure. Planned with more than 1 GW of IT capacity, the hyperscale campus is designed to support AI model training, hyperscale cloud platforms, high-performance computing (HPC), enterprise workloads, and sovereign digital infrastructure. The facility is expected to incorporate modular data center architecture, high-density GPU-ready environments, advanced liquid cooling systems, renewable energy integration, and resilient power infrastructure to meet the growing demands of AI-driven computing. Located within the strategically planned Dholera SIR, the campus will benefit from modern industrial infrastructure, multimodal connectivity, and significant room for future expansion, making it an attractive destination for hyperscalers, cloud providers, and AI infrastructure investors. Beyond strengthening India's digital capabilities, the project is expected to generate substantial economic benefits by attracting global technology companies, creating skilled employment opportunities, and reinforcing Gujarat's position as one of the country's fastest-growing data center markets while supporting India's ambition to become a global leader in AI, cloud computing, and high-performance digital infrastructure.
