TIM Telecom Italia Rozzano Flagship Cloud & Colocation Data Center

Status: Via Achille Grandi, 20089 Rozzano (MI), Italy   |   Location: Via Achille Grandi, 20089 Rozzano (MI), Italy

Project Overview

The TIM Rozzano Data Center Campus, also known as the Telecom Italia Rozzano Data Center or Noovle Rozzano Flagship, is a major hyperscale, enterprise colocation, and cloud infrastructure facility owned and operated by TIM (Telecom Italia) through its cloud and edge subsidiary, Noovle. Located on Via Grandi in Rozzano, within the Metropolitan City of Milan in Lombardy, Italy, the facility serves as a strategic technology hub supporting Italy’s national digital infrastructure, telecommunications networks, 5G services, cloud platforms, and enterprise multi-cloud environments. The campus comprises multiple interconnected technical buildings within a highly secured perimeter and provides more than 25,000 square meters of technical whitespace, with an ultimate IT capacity exceeding 25 MW. Designed around high availability and operational resilience, the facility incorporates infrastructure aligned with Tier III and Tier IV fault-tolerant principles, including dual independent utility grid feeds, 2N power architectures, static UPS systems, emergency diesel generators, and high-efficiency precision cooling. These systems enable the campus to support mission-critical workloads, telecommunications infrastructure, enterprise applications, cloud services, and high-density computing requirements. The Rozzano campus also plays an important role in Italy’s connectivity ecosystem, functioning as a major interconnection location with access to carrier networks and international connectivity routes. Its connectivity ecosystem includes links to MIX (Milan Internet eXchange) and broader terrestrial and submarine telecommunications networks, strengthening Milan’s position as a key European digital infrastructure hub. Through TIM and Noovle’s wider cloud and network ecosystem, the Rozzano campus supports Italy’s expanding requirements for cloud adoption, 5G connectivity, enterprise digital transformation, and next-generation digital services.
