Project Overview
Vantage Data Centers’ WAW1 is a flagship hyperscale data center campus located on a 12-acre (5-hectare) site in Warsaw, Poland, serving as the company’s primary digital gateway into the rapidly growing Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) market. Strategically positioned approximately 30 minutes from Warsaw Chopin Airport, the campus provides excellent regional connectivity while supporting the increasing demand for cloud computing, enterprise colocation, and artificial intelligence infrastructure. WAW1 consists of two modern four-story data center facilities delivering a combined 48 MW of critical IT capacity across approximately 390,000 square feet of space. The campus is engineered to support high-density computing environments with an average power density of around 300 watts per square foot, making it well suited for hyperscale cloud platforms, GPU-intensive AI workloads, and high-performance computing applications. Reliable electrical infrastructure is provided through dedicated on-site utility sub-transmission connections supplied by E.ON/Innogy, ensuring resilient and scalable power delivery. To maximize operational efficiency and sustainability, the campus incorporates hyper-efficient closed-loop air-cooled chiller systems and a zero-water cooling architecture, significantly reducing water consumption while maintaining optimal thermal performance for mission-critical workloads.
