Yondr London Slough Building 3: 40MW Hyperscale Data Center
Status: Operational / Ready for Service (Achieved May 7, 2026) | Location: Slough SL2 5EJ, United Kingdom
Project Overview
Formally hitting its Ready for Service (RFS) milestone on May 7, 2026, Yondr Group’s Building 3 development represents the final crown jewel of its 100MW Slough mega-campus. Constructed in a compressed 15-month timeline following its early 2025 groundbreaking, this 40MW facility solidifies Slough Trading Estate's position as West London's premier, high-density mission-critical data corridor. Designed explicitly to accommodate intense cloud workflows and enterprise AI deployments, the multi-facility development breathes commercial life back into a formerly derelict industrial paint factory site. To soften the physical presence of the facility along the public canal-side perimeter, Yondr constructed a specialized, independent green wall structure that provides acoustic dampening and visual shielding. Alongside the heavy civil infrastructure work, Yondr executed community-aligned education programs, funding biodiversity-focused outdoor learning for local schools and establishing a £27,000 regional STEM scholarship program to train local tech talent.
