Grupo VAPAT is a Spanish industrial and renewable energy group with more than 50 years of experience across energy, industrial, agricultural, and real estate activities. The company is entering the data center sector through DC Mudarra, a development vehicle behind a planned campus in Torrelobatón, Valladolid. The proposed project could reach 160 MW of IT capacity across two data center buildings, with eight 10 MW IT rooms in each building. The site could cover up to 250 hectares and is positioned beside VAPAT's San Lorenzo wind farms and near the La Mudarra electrical substation. The project is undergoing environmental assessment and remains in an early administrative stage.
