Ingenostrum was a Spanish renewable energy engineering and data center development company founded in 2009. Its data center business focused on sustainable, energy efficient campuses designed for cloud, hyperscale and AI workloads. Key projects included the 15 MW IT Galicia Green Data Center in Curtis, the CCGreen project in Cáceres and additional large scale developments across Spain. By 2024, Ingenostrum reported a 320 MW electrical data center pipeline and nearly 200 MW of IT capacity in Spain. In 2026, IREN completed its acquisition of Ingenostrum, adding approximately 490 MW of secured, grid connected Spanish capacity to IREN's AI infrastructure portfolio. The business now operates under the IREN brand.
