Pilot Energy Limited is an Australian energy company transitioning from oil and gas toward clean energy and carbon management projects. Its data center activity centers on the Dongara Data Centre at the former Cliff Head plant site near Dongara, Western Australia. The project is being developed with UAE based Kala Data, using Pilot’s existing 4.4 MW gas fired generation infrastructure. The first 1 MW modular facility was commissioned in April 2026, with 0.4 MW of computing capacity initially operational and the remaining capacity subject to electrical upgrades. Pilot and Kala planned expansion to 4 MW during 2026, while also assessing larger data center opportunities.
