Schwarz Group is a major European retail and technology group whose digital infrastructure activities are managed through Schwarz Digits. The division operates STACKIT, a sovereign European cloud and colocation platform, originally developed to support the IT infrastructure of Lidl and Kaufland. Schwarz Group is expanding its physical data center infrastructure, including a 200MW data center in Lübbenau, Germany, described by the group as one of Europe’s most modern data centers. Schwarz Digits generated €2.2 billion in revenue in fiscal 2025 and employs thousands of technology professionals across cloud, cybersecurity and digital services.
