T1 Energy Inc. is an Austin based energy solutions company primarily focused on U.S. solar manufacturing and energy supply chains. Its data center involvement is emerging through the conversion of its Giga Arctic industrial facility in Mo i Rana, Norway. In August 2026, local officials approved rezoning 161,000 square feet of the campus for data center operations. T1 expects a 50 MW data center could become operational in 2027, with potential expansion supported by a total 396 MW position in the grid capacity queue.
