Valfortec S.L. is a Spanish renewable energy company founded in Castellón in 2005, specializing in photovoltaic project development, construction, commissioning, and maintenance. The company is expanding into digital infrastructure through the El Lobo data center project in Monforte del Cid, Alicante, developed through its subsidiary Preval Renewable 2. The project is planned as a modular, three phase facility with 30 MW of total demand, including approximately 25 MW of effective IT load, and is designed for edge computing and Edge AI workloads. The project has an estimated CAPEX of approximately €302 million in official project documentation. Valfortec is integrating renewable generation and battery storage into the project's energy strategy.
