Zydeco Development is a privately held commercial real estate development firm based in Austin, Texas, with more than three decades of experience developing business parks and commercial properties. The company has developed, leased, sold, and managed more than 4 million square feet of industrial, office, and retail space in the Austin area. Its data center activity included Project Hutto, a proposed facility at 450 Ed Schmidt Boulevard in Hutto, Texas. The proposal involved a 41 acre site and a planned 70 MW data center. Zydeco withdrew its rezoning application in April 2026, ending the proposed Hutto development in its submitted form.
