Taipei, Taiwan - January 13, 2026 - Singapore-based Empyrion Digital has officially begun construction on its first data center in Taiwan, located in the Neihu Technology Hub of Taipei, the company announced today via a press release. The project marks a strategic expansion into the Taiwanese market, aiming to meet growing demand for cloud, AI, and high-performance computing services.

Neihu Technology Park, a well-established district for IT and innovation companies, has been central to Taiwan’s digital infrastructure growth. Empyrion Digital’s new facility will leverage this connectivity to support regional enterprise workloads and AI-optimized computing. While the company did not disclose exact capacity figures or commissioning dates, the project reflects its broader strategy to develop sustainable, future-ready facilities in Asia.

Empyrion Digital has previously completed data center projects in Singapore and Seoul and is exploring further expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. “Taiwan represents a key growth market for AI and cloud infrastructure in the region,” said an Empyrion Digital spokesperson. “Our Neihu facility will combine operational efficiency, scalability, and energy-conscious design to meet the needs of enterprise and cloud customers alike.”

The project also aligns with broader industry trends of deploying AI-ready data centers in strategic regional hubs to reduce latency and support local digital ecosystems. Taipei, as a center for tech innovation, provides a strong foundation for Empyrion Digital’s initiative, which aims to bring state-of-the-art digital infrastructure closer to businesses and cloud providers operating in Taiwan and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

With construction underway, Empyrion Digital’s Neihu campus is expected to become a critical addition to Taiwan’s digital landscape, supporting enterprises, cloud providers, and AI-driven workloads while maintaining sustainability and efficiency standards in line with the company’s global portfolio.
