Project Overview

The 5C Data Centers Phoenix PHX01 is a high-density, AI-focused edge hyperscale data center facility developed by 5C Data Centers and positioned within the rapidly expanding digital infrastructure market of Phoenix, Arizona. Located at 2802 W Palm Lane in Phoenix, Maricopa County, the facility benefits from the city’s growing concentration of data centers, telecommunications infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise technology operations, while providing strategic connectivity toward the U.S. West Coast and major Southwest regional cloud markets. PHX01 is master-planned to provide approximately 20.0 MW of critical IT load capacity, creating substantial infrastructure for high-density artificial intelligence workloads, GPU clusters, accelerated computing environments, enterprise applications, and colocation deployments. The facility is engineered to Tier III-equivalent high-availability standards, incorporating redundant electrical and mechanical systems designed to support continuous data center operations and reduce the impact of equipment maintenance or utility interruptions. Its electrical infrastructure is designed around Arizona’s established utility network, including SRP and APS grid distribution, complemented by 2N/N+1 static UPS configurations and emergency standby diesel generation for additional resilience. Cooling infrastructure combines energy-efficient air-cooling systems with direct-to-chip liquid cooling capabilities, enabling the facility to accommodate higher rack densities and the thermal requirements associated with modern AI and GPU-based computing. Carrier-neutral fiber connectivity provides diverse network paths into Phoenix’s telecommunications ecosystem and internet exchange infrastructure, supporting low-latency connections to cloud platforms, enterprises, content providers, and regional digital services. Through its combination of scalable IT capacity, resilient infrastructure, advanced cooling, and strategic network access, PHX01 is positioned to serve the growing demand for AI infrastructure and high-performance computing across the Southwest United States.
