Project Overview
Ada Infrastructure’s London Docklands Campus (Project Olympus) is a flagship 210 MW hyperscale data center development located in Silvertown, within London’s Royal Docks area. Designed to become one of the largest digital infrastructure campuses in London, the project spans up to 2.29 million square feet and consists of three multi-story facilities, each providing 70 MW of capacity. The buildings feature five levels of advanced technical data halls, dedicated generator plants, and rooftop gantry systems to support large-scale cloud, enterprise, and artificial intelligence workloads. Built as an “AI-ready” campus from the ground up, Project Olympus is engineered to accommodate high-density computing environments through advanced hybrid cooling solutions, including traditional air cooling and direct liquid cooling technologies. The development includes a dedicated 300 MVA on-site primary electrical substation, ensuring reliable power delivery for intensive digital workloads. Sustainability is a key focus, with the campus targeting an industry-leading PUE range of 1.20–1.23 through energy-efficient infrastructure design. The facility incorporates a water-free mechanical cooling approach using water-cooled chillers and dry air coolers while enabling waste heat recovery for nearby community energy initiatives. Project Olympus represents a major investment in London’s digital ecosystem, supporting next-generation AI, cloud computing, and high-performance computing applications.
