LEV002 Data Center (AtlasEdge Leverkusen LEV002)
Status: Under Construction / Active Development | Location: Dornierstraße 10, 51381 Leverkusen-Quettingen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
Project Overview
AtlasEdge LEV002 is a modern, high-density edge colocation facility located within the AtlasEdge Leverkusen Campus in the Cologne Metropolitan Region, Germany, strengthening the company’s infrastructure presence across the strategically important Rhine-Ruhr digital corridor. Developed as a complementary facility to the operational LEV001 site, LEV002 is designed to support growing demand for AI workloads, high-performance computing, cloud infrastructure, and other data-intensive applications requiring reliable and low-latency connectivity. The facility provides approximately 4.4 MW of critical IT capacity and around 3,400 m² of technical whitespace, offering customers scalable infrastructure for high-density compute clusters and enterprise deployments. Its location in Leverkusen provides access to major industrial, commercial, and telecommunications hubs across the wider Cologne and Rhine-Ruhr region, enabling efficient connectivity between enterprises, cloud platforms, network providers, and digital services. As a carrier-neutral facility, LEV002 is designed to provide customers with flexible connectivity options and access to multiple telecommunications networks, supporting diverse network architectures and reducing dependence on a single carrier. The facility also operates on 100% renewable energy, reinforcing AtlasEdge’s focus on reducing the environmental impact of its European data center portfolio while supporting customers with sustainability requirements. With its combination of high-density capacity, renewable energy sourcing, carrier-neutral connectivity, and strategic positioning near major regional cloud and industrial nodes, AtlasEdge LEV002 is positioned to serve the rapidly expanding requirements of AI, cloud computing, digital enterprises, and edge applications across Western Germany.
