Bulk Infrastructure Gothenburg Data Center Campus: Nordic AI Hub

Status: Planned / Under Development   |   Location: Strategic Industrial Corridor, Gothenburg, Västra Götaland County, Sweden

Project Overview

Bulk Infrastructure’s Gothenburg Data Center Campus is a next-generation sustainable digital infrastructure development strategically located along Sweden’s western technology corridor, serving hyperscale cloud providers, enterprises, and AI-driven digital workloads across the Nordic region. Designed to support the rapidly increasing demand for artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, high-performance computing (HPC), and cloud applications, the campus combines scalable infrastructure with energy-efficient operations to deliver high-performance computing environments. The facility is engineered to accommodate ultra-high-density deployments exceeding 100 kW per rack, with direct liquid cooling readiness enabling efficient operation of GPU-intensive servers and next-generation AI hardware. Powered by Sweden’s low-carbon, renewable electricity grid, the campus provides customers with a sustainable platform for deploying large-scale digital infrastructure while reducing operational emissions. A key advantage of the development is its direct integration with Bulk Infrastructure’s high-capacity dark fiber network, offering low-latency connectivity between major Nordic metropolitan areas, including Oslo, Gothenburg, Stockholm, and Copenhagen. This extensive fiber ecosystem enables fast, resilient, and secure data transmission while providing seamless access to regional and international cloud and network providers. Combining renewable energy, advanced cooling technologies, scalable hyperscale infrastructure, and strategic connectivity, Bulk Infrastructure’s Gothenburg Data Center Campus strengthens Sweden’s position as a leading destination for AI-ready digital infrastructure and supports the continued growth of high-performance computing and cloud services throughout Northern Europe.
