Green Mountain OSL1 Oslo Data Center Campus: 93MW Sustainable Hub

Status: Operational / Active Expansion   |   Location: Granittveien 100, 1914 Ytre Enebakk, Norway

Project Overview

Green Mountain’s OSL1-Enebakk Campus, located approximately 20 km southeast of Oslo, Norway, is a flagship carrier-neutral data center campus designed to deliver highly resilient, sustainable, and scalable digital infrastructure for the Nordic region. Providing up to 93 MW of total power capacity across a 75,000 m² campus, OSL1 comprises multiple purpose-built single-tenant and multi-tenant data center buildings that support hyperscale cloud providers, enterprise customers, financial institutions, and colocation services. The campus is powered entirely by 100% renewable hydroelectric energy through dual independent grid connections, ensuring exceptional energy reliability while maintaining a minimal carbon footprint. Engineered to Tier III standards, OSL1 is designed with a target Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of approximately 1.20, reflecting its strong focus on operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. The facility takes full advantage of Norway’s naturally cool climate, combining advanced N+1 precision cooling systems with liquid-cooling capabilities to support high-density rack deployments for artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), cloud platforms, and other compute-intensive workloads. In addition, the campus incorporates heat recovery solutions that capture excess thermal energy for reuse, further improving overall energy efficiency and supporting circular economy initiatives. Strategically located near Oslo with excellent regional connectivity, Green Mountain’s OSL1-Enebakk Campus provides secure, low-latency, and future-ready digital infrastructure, reinforcing Norway’s position as one of Europe’s leading destinations for sustainable hyperscale and AI-ready data center development.
