1000 Bolton Road Data Center is a 50 MW critical IT load, purpose-built AI-ready data center development located across a 39-acre site at 1000 Bolton Road in Marion, Guadalupe County, Texas, approximately 26 miles east of San Antonio. Developed by Legacy Data Centers, also known as Legacy Investing, the project is designed to support high-density cloud computing, artificial intelligence training and inference, and other compute-intensive workloads requiring substantial power and cooling capacity. The planned facility will encompass more than 100,000 sq ft (9,290 m²) of technical data hall space, providing a scalable environment for advanced digital infrastructure deployments. Liquid cooling readiness supports higher rack densities and emerging AI computing platforms with demanding thermal requirements, while N+1 block redundant electrical infrastructure provides additional resilience for mission-critical operations. The development also offers access to 100% renewable power options through ERCOT grid interconnects, enabling customers to align energy procurement with renewable power and sustainability objectives. Connectivity infrastructure includes dual carrier-neutral Meet-Me-Rooms that provide diverse interconnection opportunities for carriers, cloud providers, enterprises, and network operators. Low-latency dark fiber access connects the facility with the San Antonio and Austin digital infrastructure corridors, supporting high-bandwidth applications and efficient regional data transmission. Its location in Marion provides proximity to San Antonio while maintaining connectivity with Austin and the wider Central Texas technology ecosystem. The combination of 50 MW power capacity, AI-ready cooling infrastructure, redundant electrical systems, renewable energy options, technical data hall space, and regional fiber connectivity creates a flexible platform for next-generation cloud, AI, and high-performance computing workloads.
