Project Overview
Chindata Group’s Greater Beijing AI Data Center Campus, anchored across Huailai and the broader Pan-Beijing industrial corridors, represents one of Northern China’s leading hyperscale digital infrastructure clusters developed under China’s “Eastern Data, Western Computing” national initiative. Designed to support the rapidly expanding demand for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, the campus is purpose-built for large-scale AI large language model (LLM) training, autonomous driving simulations, advanced analytics, and real-time AI inference workloads. Strategically located near Beijing, the facility provides ultra-low network latency of less than 2 milliseconds to central Beijing, enabling fast data processing and seamless connectivity for enterprises, technology companies, and research institutions. The campus integrates next-generation infrastructure technologies, including advanced modular prefabricated building systems that accelerate deployment and improve scalability. It also incorporates Solid-State Transformer (SST) direct power delivery solutions to enhance electrical efficiency and reliability while supporting the high energy demands of AI workloads.
