Project Overview

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) is undertaking a comprehensive AI readiness expansion across its flagship data center facilities in Singapore, strengthening the country’s position as a leading hub for next-generation digital infrastructure. The initiative aligns with Singapore’s national Green Data Centre Roadmap, focusing on the development of energy-efficient and sustainable infrastructure capable of supporting rapidly growing artificial intelligence workloads. The expansion enhances STT GDC’s island-wide data center footprint with advanced high-density GPU computing capabilities designed for AI training, inference, and enterprise-scale large language model (LLM) deployments. To manage the increasing thermal demands of next-generation AI systems, the facilities integrate advanced cooling technologies, including direct-to-chip (DTC) liquid cooling and liquid immersion cooling solutions, enabling higher rack densities and improved operational efficiency. The project also incorporates renewable energy procurement strategies and low power usage effectiveness (PUE) standards to reduce environmental impact while maintaining reliable performance. By combining AI-optimized infrastructure, advanced cooling architectures, and sustainable energy practices, STT GDC’s Singapore expansion supports the growing demand from hyperscalers, cloud providers, enterprises, and AI innovators.
