The CyrusOne Austin Campus, located at 7100 and 7301 Metropolis Drive in southeast Austin, Texas, represents a major enterprise colocation and hyperscale cloud development within the MetCenter business park. Situated near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, the campus encompasses more than 172,000 square feet of hardened concrete data center infrastructure and provides approximately 27 megawatts of total critical power capacity for mission-critical corporate infrastructure, enterprise cloud deployments, high-density computing, and other demanding digital workloads. Electrical infrastructure is supplied through dual dedicated substation connections from Austin Energy, providing diverse power pathways and supporting continuous facility operations. The campus incorporates CyrusOne's Mass Modular design approach, combining scalable infrastructure with static uninterruptible power supply configurations and standby emergency diesel generators equipped with multi-day fuel reserves. These systems provide layered resilience and help protect critical computing environments against utility interruptions and other electrical events. The facility is also engineered around resource-efficient cooling strategies, utilizing waterless closed-loop chillers to maintain stable environmental conditions while minimizing or eliminating reliance on municipal water for routine cooling operations.
