Project Overview

CyrusOne LON1 is a 9 MW critical IT load data center facility at 12 Liverpool Road on the Slough Trading Estate in Slough, United Kingdom, providing scalable colocation infrastructure within the West London corridor. The purpose built two story facility delivers more than 4,309 m², or 46,382 sq ft, of technical whitespace, creating deployment capacity for enterprise, cloud, and high density compute workloads. Its location within the established Slough data center cluster provides access to a mature digital infrastructure environment and connectivity routes serving the wider London market. LON1 incorporates N+N static UPS redundancy, providing duplicated power protection for critical IT equipment and supporting high availability requirements. Active and active dual 33kV high voltage power feeds provide diversified electrical supply to the facility, strengthening resilience for demanding customer deployments. Cooling is supported by N+1 indirect adiabatic cooling units designed with zero continuous municipal water draw, providing a thermal management approach that reduces reliance on ongoing municipal water consumption while supporting high density computing requirements. The facility is powered by 100% renewable grid power, aligning its electricity supply with customer sustainability objectives. Dual Meet Me Rooms provide dedicated environments for carrier and network interconnection, while low latency dark fiber access to major London exchanges supports responsive connectivity to cloud platforms, enterprise networks, financial services, and other data intensive applications. The combination of 9 MW of critical IT capacity, extensive technical whitespace, resilient power infrastructure, water efficient cooling, renewable grid power, and London network connectivity provides a flexible platform for customers requiring scalable colocation infrastructure. Its position on the Slough Trading Estate further connects LON1 to one of the United Kingdom’s established data center locations and broader London digital ecosystem.
