Project Overview

DAMAC Digital JKT02, formerly known as EDGNEX Cikarang, is a planned AI focused hyperscale data center campus located on approximately 50,000 square meters of industrial land within the Greenland International Industrial Center, GIIC, in Pasirranji, Cikarang, Bekasi, Indonesia. Developed by Dubai based DAMAC Digital, the approximately $2.3 billion development is designed to establish large scale computing infrastructure for artificial intelligence acceleration and other high density digital workloads. The campus is engineered to support more than 144 MW of IT capacity, providing substantial computing potential for AI training, inference, cloud services, and enterprise applications that require high power density and advanced thermal management. Phase 1 is scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2026, establishing the initial operating capacity while providing a foundation for subsequent expansion across the wider campus. The facility incorporates scale ready modular infrastructure, allowing computing capacity to be deployed and expanded according to customer requirements and future demand. Direct to chip liquid cooling options are also planned to support the thermal requirements of high density AI accelerator systems, where conventional air cooling can become less effective as rack power densities increase. JKT02 is positioned within the Greater Jakarta digital infrastructure ecosystem, providing access to established industrial infrastructure, telecommunications networks, and regional business markets. Its carrier neutral connectivity architecture is designed to provide connections into the Greater Jakarta internet grid, supporting network diversity and access for cloud providers, enterprises, and other digital infrastructure customers. The development also reflects the increasing role of Indonesia in Southeast Asia’s hyperscale and AI infrastructure landscape, as demand for localized computing capacity expands across cloud services, artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and enterprise technology. By combining substantial planned IT capacity, AI optimized infrastructure, liquid cooling capabilities, modular expansion potential, and carrier neutral connectivity, DAMAC Digital JKT02 is positioned as a major planned digital infrastructure hub serving Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asian market.
