Status: Announced / Planning & Permitting Phase (DRI Filed) | Location: 218 Industrial Park Road, Cartersville, GA 30121, USA
The DataBank Project Indo (Cartersville Campus) is a proposed $2.4 billion, 1.1 million-square-foot hyperscale-ready data center development situated at 218 Industrial Park Road, Cartersville, Bartow County, Georgia 30121, USA. Developed by DataBank Holdings Ltd., the 69-acre site represents DataBank’s largest flagship development footprint in the greater Atlanta data center market, providing a substantial platform for the region’s expanding digital infrastructure requirements. The multi-building campus is engineered to accommodate the increasing demands of high-density computing, cloud services, and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads, with the master plan providing approximately 200 MW of total IT load. Its large-scale configuration is intended to support multiple phases of data center development while providing the capacity and infrastructure required for hyperscale and other demanding computing environments. Electrical infrastructure is being coordinated through MEAG Power and the City of Cartersville Electric System, with an applied utility capacity connection of up to 288 MW supporting the campus’s substantial energy requirements. The combination of significant IT capacity and utility availability is designed to provide a strong foundation for high-density computing deployments as demand for AI and cloud infrastructure continues to grow. The project’s location in Cartersville also places it within the broader Atlanta digital infrastructure ecosystem, allowing it to benefit from the region’s established connectivity, enterprise activity, and growing data center presence. With its large development footprint, substantial investment, hyperscale-ready design, high IT load, and dedicated utility coordination, the DataBank Project Indo is positioned to become a major addition to DataBank’s portfolio in Georgia. The campus further reflects the continued expansion of large-scale digital infrastructure beyond the core Atlanta market as operators seek suitable land, electrical capacity, and scalable locations for next-generation cloud and AI workloads.
