Digital Edge Navi Mumbai BOM1 represents Digital Edge’s entry into the Indian digital infrastructure market through a joint venture with AGP City Gold. Located on a 47,000-square-meter site along Babasaheb Ambedkar Road within the Ghansoli and Thane-Belapur technology corridor of Navi Mumbai, the multi-storey facility is designed to provide 50.0 MW of gross utility power capacity and 40.0 MW of critical IT load. The facility is purpose-built to support hyperscale cloud providers, global digital platforms, enterprise technology customers, artificial intelligence applications, and other compute-intensive workloads requiring scalable and resilient infrastructure. Electrical reliability is supported by high-voltage grid connections from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, complemented by static 2N uninterruptible power supply configurations and emergency standby diesel generators to maintain continuity during grid interruptions and critical maintenance events. BOM1 incorporates advanced thermal management infrastructure designed for high-density computing environments, combining closed-loop chilled-water cooling systems with direct-to-chip liquid cooling capabilities to efficiently manage heat generated by high-performance processors and GPU-intensive workloads. Strategically positioned within Navi Mumbai’s established technology and telecommunications ecosystem, the facility is designed as a highly connected digital infrastructure hub serving both domestic and international customers. Dual carrier-neutral meet-me rooms provide access to diverse telecommunications and network providers, while direct fiber connectivity toward Mumbai’s subsea cable landing stations supports low-latency international data transmission and access to global digital networks. A five-layer, 24/7 zero-trust physical security architecture provides controlled access and continuous monitoring across critical areas, supporting secure operations and protecting customer infrastructure. With its combination of scalable capacity, advanced cooling, resilient electrical systems, and extensive connectivity, BOM1 strengthens Navi Mumbai’s position as a major data center market in India.
