Project Overview
EdgeCore’s PH05 is a flagship 100 MW hyperscale data center expansion located within the company’s 84-acre master-planned campus in Mesa, Arizona. Purpose-built to support the rapidly growing demands of hyperscale cloud providers, artificial intelligence (AI), and high-performance computing (HPC) environments, the facility is engineered to accommodate ultra-high-density rack deployments required for GPU-intensive AI training clusters, cloud availability zones, and large-scale enterprise workloads. PH05 incorporates an advanced closed-loop air-cooled architecture that delivers highly efficient thermal management while maintaining a near-zero Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE) of less than 0.01 liters per kilowatt-hour, significantly reducing water consumption in Arizona’s arid Sonoran Desert climate. The campus is supported by dedicated on-site high-voltage utility substations that provide resilient, scalable electrical infrastructure capable of supporting continuous mission-critical operations and future expansion. As a carrier-neutral facility, PH05 offers path-diverse dark fiber connectivity to major Phoenix carrier hotels, internet exchanges, and leading cloud on-ramp providers, ensuring low-latency, high-bandwidth network performance for hyperscale and enterprise customers. The data center also features redundant power and cooling systems, advanced physical security, intelligent infrastructure monitoring, and flexible data hall configurations optimized for next-generation AI and cloud computing deployments.
