The Edged Fort Worth / Benbrook Data Center, also referred to as the Veale Ranch Data Center, is a proposed $1.0 billion ultra-efficient hyperscale campus planned on an approximately 186-acre site at the intersection of Interstate 20 and FM 2871/Chapin School Road within the Veale Ranch area of the Fort Worth extraterritorial jurisdiction and Benbrook Corridor in Texas, USA. Developed by Edged Data Centers, a subsidiary of Endeavour, in partnership with Dallas-based developer PMB Capital, the project is designed to establish a large-scale digital infrastructure facility focused on supporting the rapidly increasing power and computing requirements of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and other high-density workloads. The proposed campus is being planned around a sustainability-focused infrastructure model intended to minimize both energy overhead and water consumption. A central element of the development is its closed-loop dry cooling topology, which is engineered to operate without ongoing operational water consumption. This waterless cooling approach is particularly relevant in Texas, where growing data center demand has increased attention on the water requirements associated with conventional cooling technologies. The facility is expected to support high-density GPU server clusters and other accelerated-computing systems requiring advanced thermal management and substantial electrical capacity. Power for the campus will be supplied through a direct connection to the ERCOT grid, supported by a dedicated on-site Oncor Electric Delivery substation designed to provide the electrical infrastructure required for reliable mission-critical operations. The dedicated substation is expected to strengthen the project's ability to accommodate high-density computing loads while supporting future scalability across the large development site. Its location along the I-20 corridor also provides connectivity to the wider Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area and its established technology and telecommunications infrastructure. With its substantial land position, major investment value, waterless cooling architecture, direct grid connection, and dedicated electrical infrastructure, the Edged Fort Worth/Benbrook Data Center represents a significant proposed hyperscale development in the North Texas market. The project also demonstrates the growing emphasis on sustainable data center designs capable of supporting AI-driven computing growth while reducing operational water requirements.
