Project Overview
Equinix MT1 is a 62,926 sq ft International Business Exchange™ (IBX®) colocation data center located at 6205 Rue Vanden Abeele in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. Positioned within Montreal’s primary West Island technology corridor, the facility supports regional enterprises, cloud service providers, network operators, and digital infrastructure customers requiring secure colocation and reliable interconnection. As part of Equinix’s global data center platform, MT1 provides access to a broad ecosystem of carriers, service providers, and enterprise networks, helping customers establish efficient connections across Montreal and international markets. The facility is integrated with Equinix Fabric™, enabling virtualized, on-demand connectivity to distributed infrastructure, cloud environments, and business partners. Direct low-latency cloud on-ramps to Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud support hybrid cloud deployments, multi-cloud strategies, application modernization, and data-intensive workloads.
