Equinix PA10: 15MW Highly Connected Eco-Hub Paris
Status: Live / Operational (Active AI Liquid-Cooling Upgrades) | Location: 114 Rue Ambroise Croizat, 93200 Saint-Denis
Project Overview
Equinix PA10 is a state-of-the-art International Business Exchange™ (IBX) data center located on the high-density Saint-Denis campus in Paris, serving as a critical digital intersection for Western Europe. The multi-story facility spans 5,775 square meters of white space (accommodating over 2,250 cabinets at full buildout) and hosts an ultra-dense ecosystem of cloud service providers, network carriers, and global financial firms. PA10 is widely recognized as a global model for urban sustainability; it features a landmark heat recovery system that captures thermal energy directly from its server halls to heat the Olympic Aquatic Centre and thousands of local homes via the Plaine Commune municipal district network. Additionally, the building includes a rooftop greenhouse that uses harvested heat and a specialized water retention system for community agriculture. To support modern generative AI and high-performance computing (HPC) footprints, the facility has integrated direct-to-chip liquid cooling systems and high-efficiency UPS architectures. Seamlessly interconnected with adjacent hubs PA2, PA3, and PA9x via campus dark fiber cross-connects, PA10 offers direct access to 120+ networks and major European internet exchanges, combining dense hybrid IT colocation with elite ESG engineering.
