NTT Amsterdam 1: 40MW High-Density Network Gateway
Status: Live / Operational (Active AI-Density Modernization) | Location: Aviolanda 1, 1437 Rozenburg
Project Overview
Situated in the highly coveted Schiphol-Rijk district, NTT Amsterdam 1 is a cornerstone of Northern Europe's cloud fabric. Spanning 7,500 square meters of operational white spaces, scaling to over 17,200 square meters at ultimate capacity, this campus is explicitly designed to support intensive hyperscale network footprints and high-density computing loads. Its location adjacent to Schiphol Airport offers an exceptional network ecosystem, providing ultra-low-latency links back to Amsterdam's primary internet exchange rings (AMS-IX and NL-IX). Built with a durable concrete shell, bulletproof security facades, and concrete roofing structures, Amsterdam 1 ensures enterprise-grade physical asset protection. The campus is currently undergoing deep cooling modifications to handle modern AI deployments, deploying high-efficiency UPS technology and modular cooling upgrades. Operating in full compliance with the European Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact, Amsterdam 1 couples dense multi-carrier cross-connections with premium, sustainable infrastructure, providing an indispensable European link for global enterprises, financial sectors, and tier-1 hyperscale cloud operations.
