Galaxy Banchang Rayong Data Center Campus 120MW Campus

Status: Under Construction / Master Development   |   Location: Q33H+9Q3, Ban Chang, Ban Chang District, Rayong 21130, Thailand

Project Overview

The Galaxy Banchang Rayong Data Center Campus in Ban Chang District, Rayong, Thailand, represents a major hyperscale digital infrastructure development within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), supporting the region’s growing role as a strategic technology and industrial hub. Master planned to provide up to 120 megawatts of gross utility capacity and approximately 90 megawatts of critical IT load across multiple high-density facilities, the campus is designed to accommodate rapidly expanding cloud computing requirements, artificial intelligence model training, machine learning applications, enterprise workloads, and international edge deployments. Electrical infrastructure is centered on dedicated high-voltage substation systems integrated with the Provincial Electricity Authority transmission network, supported by resilient electrical distribution, modular static uninterruptible power supply architectures, and standby emergency generators equipped with extended onsite fuel reserves. Designed for Thailand’s tropical environmental conditions and increasingly demanding computing densities exceeding 80 kW per rack, the campus incorporates advanced thermal-management infrastructure, including closed-loop zero-water cooling systems and direct-to-chip liquid cooling readiness. These technologies are intended to improve heat removal efficiency, reduce reliance on freshwater resources, and support high-performance computing environments operating continuously in a warm climate. The campus also benefits from its strategic location along Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard, close to established industrial infrastructure, telecommunications networks, and international subsea cable routes serving Asia-Pacific markets. Diverse subterranean dark-fiber entry pathways are planned to provide resilient, low-latency connectivity to Bangkok internet exchanges, regional cloud platforms, enterprise networks, and trans-Asian telecommunications backbones. By combining substantial electrical capacity, resilient infrastructure, advanced cooling technologies, strategic EEC positioning, and extensive fiber connectivity, the Galaxy Banchang Rayong Data Center Campus is positioned to support Thailand’s expanding digital economy and growing demand for hyperscale cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure.
