Project Overview

GDC-SDK1 Data Center is a flagship hyperscale digital infrastructure development located within Sedenak Tech Park (STeP) in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia. Developed and operated by Global Data Centre Sdn Bhd, the 120 MW campus is designed to support high-density artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and enterprise colocation workloads across Southeast Asia. Its substantial planned capacity provides the infrastructure foundation required for energy-intensive computing environments, including AI and high-performance cloud applications that require reliable power, advanced cooling, and resilient connectivity. Designed to Tier III fault-tolerant standards, the multi-phase facility incorporates 2N electrical grid redundancy to provide resilient power pathways for critical computing infrastructure. N+1 precision cooling loops support thermal management across high-density technical environments, while advanced security controls are designed to protect data center facilities and customer infrastructure. The campus also incorporates high-count carrier-neutral fiber routes, allowing customers to access multiple network providers and supporting flexible connectivity requirements. Direct links to cross-border networks serving Singapore and major Malaysian Internet Exchanges strengthen the facility’s position within the regional digital infrastructure ecosystem and support low-latency connectivity between Malaysia and key Southeast Asian markets. Its location within Sedenak Tech Park places the development in one of Johor’s emerging technology and industrial infrastructure zones, providing access to established utilities, telecommunications networks, and regional connectivity routes.
