Iron Mountain MUM-3, operated through the joint venture between Web Werks and Iron Mountain Data Centers, is a high-density colocation facility located on a 1.5-acre site at R-52, Central Road North, Sector 8, MIDC Industrial Area in Rabale, Navi Mumbai. With more than 200,000 square feet of gross facility area, the multi-storey data center is designed to deliver 40.0 MW of gross utility power and 32.0 MW of critical IT capacity, supporting the infrastructure requirements of global hyperscalers, cloud service providers, financial institutions, technology companies, and digital enterprises. Utility infrastructure is supported through dual high-voltage feeds from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, providing electrical redundancy to critical operations. Static 2N UPS systems and standby emergency diesel generators provide additional resilience, helping maintain continuous operations during utility disturbances or outages. MUM-3 incorporates high-efficiency chilled-water cooling infrastructure designed to manage the thermal requirements of conventional air-cooled equipment as well as direct liquid cooling configurations for high-density server and accelerated computing deployments. The facility also provides extensive network connectivity through dual carrier-neutral meet-me rooms, enabling customers to establish connections with multiple telecommunications and network providers. Direct dark-fiber interconnections provide routes toward Mumbai’s principal subsea cable landing stations, supporting low-latency domestic and international data transmission. The facility also offers direct on-ramps to major hyperscaler cloud availability zones, strengthening its position as an important digital connectivity node in the Mumbai metropolitan region. Multi-layered 24/7 biometric physical security systems provide controlled access and protection for critical infrastructure, customer environments, and operational areas, supporting secure and resilient colocation services.
