Khazna AUH2 Abu Dhabi Data Center: Hyperscale Colocation Hub in UAE

Status: Fully Operational Hyperscale Facility   |   Location: Zayed Military City - Abu Dhabi USE

Project Overview

Khazna AUH2 is a major hyperscale data center facility strategically located in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi, serving as a key component of Khazna Data Centers' flagship campus alongside the adjacent AUH1 facility. Developed to address the rapidly growing demand for cloud computing, enterprise digital transformation, government services, and hyperscale infrastructure across the Middle East, AUH2 delivers highly resilient, modular wholesale colocation space capable of supporting organizations with large-scale, mission-critical IT requirements. Its scalable design enables customers to expand capacity efficiently while maintaining high levels of availability, operational flexibility, and performance. The facility incorporates advanced N+N and 2N electrical redundancy, resilient power distribution architecture, redundant UPS systems, and standby backup generators to ensure uninterrupted operations during maintenance or unexpected infrastructure events. Purpose-built high-density data halls and modular pod layouts enable the deployment of modern enterprise applications, virtualization platforms, private cloud environments, artificial intelligence workloads, high-performance computing (HPC), and data-intensive digital services. Advanced closed-loop cooling infrastructure delivers efficient thermal management while supporting increasing rack power densities and reducing overall energy consumption. Multiple layers of physical security, including biometric access controls, 24/7 surveillance, environmental monitoring, and fire detection and suppression systems, protect customer infrastructure and ensure continuous service availability. Strategically positioned within Abu Dhabi's growing digital ecosystem, AUH2 offers ultra-low-latency connectivity to the UAE's leading telecommunications providers, e& and du, as well as regional cloud availability zones, internet exchange points, and high-capacity fiber networks. The facility also supports hybrid cloud integration, disaster recovery, business continuity, and secure interconnection services for enterprises, government agencies, and cloud providers. As one of Khazna's core hyperscale assets, AUH2 plays a vital role in strengthening the UAE's digital infrastructure, enabling cloud adoption, artificial intelligence innovation, and long-term economic diversification while reinforcing Abu Dhabi's position as a leading regional hub for secure, scalable, and future-ready data center services.
