Project Overview

The LG CNS Sangam IT Center is an enterprise-grade, high-density IT operations and colocation facility owned and operated by LG CNS, the technology services division of LG Group, at 424 World Cup buk-ro in Seoul’s Mapo District, South Korea. Located within the Sangam Digital Media City (DMC), one of Seoul’s established technology and digital media corridors, the facility provides mission-critical hosting, cloud management, and multi-tenant colocation services for enterprises and digital businesses across the metropolitan area. The center also serves as the host building for key carrier-neutral network infrastructure, including the KINX Sangam1 IDC (SA1), strengthening its role within Seoul’s broader interconnection ecosystem. With approximately 18 MW of critical IT capacity, the facility is designed to support a range of enterprise and high-density computing environments, including managed cloud platforms, business applications, digital media workloads, and data-intensive services. Its anti-seismic structural design is intended to enhance resilience against severe earthquake events and protect critical IT infrastructure during seismic disturbances. The facility also incorporates dual-path power distribution to improve electrical redundancy and reduce the risk of service interruptions during maintenance or failures affecting individual power paths. High-efficiency precision cooling systems provide controlled environmental conditions for servers and networking equipment while supporting the thermal requirements of higher-density deployments. The center’s ISO 27001-certified information security management framework further supports organizations with stringent requirements for data protection, operational controls, and information security. Its strategic location in Sangam DMC provides access to Seoul’s dense technology, telecommunications, broadcasting, and digital media ecosystem, enabling low-latency connectivity for customers operating across the capital region.
