MC Digital Realty’s Osaka 3 Data Center (KIX12) is a flagship hyperscale digital infrastructure facility located within the highly connected KIX Data Center Campus in Saito Aokita, Minoh City, in the Greater Osaka metropolitan area. Strategically positioned to serve one of Japan’s largest technology and enterprise markets, the four-story facility delivers 20 MW of scalable IT power capacity across approximately 18,334 square metres of purpose-built data center space. Engineered with advanced base-isolated seismic construction, KIX12 is designed to withstand major earthquake activity while ensuring continuous availability and operational resilience for mission-critical applications. The facility is purpose-built to support hyperscale cloud providers, multinational enterprises, telecommunications operators, financial institutions, and content platforms, with infrastructure optimized for artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), high-performance computing (HPC), enterprise cloud, and other high-density computing workloads.
