To minimize water consumption in Arizona’s arid climate, Building 5 utilizes highly efficient dry-cooling technology that delivers up to 60% greater water efficiency than conventional industry cooling systems. The facility also features resilient electrical infrastructure, redundant power and cooling systems, advanced physical security, automated infrastructure management, and high-capacity fiber connectivity for low-latency global communications. As part of Meta’s expanding Mesa campus, Building 5 strengthens the company’s ability to deliver scalable, energy-efficient, and AI-ready digital infrastructure capable of supporting rapidly growing compute demands and future technological innovation.
