Microsoft Douglasville Campus is a major 168 MW hyperscale cloud and AI compute campus located at 1601 N. River Road in Lithia Springs, Douglas County, Georgia. Developed and operated directly by Microsoft Corporation, the multi building campus is designed to support large scale cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and other data intensive workloads within the broader Microsoft Azure infrastructure. The development includes four primary hyperscale data center facilities, providing substantial capacity for high density computing and AI model training requirements. The campus is engineered to Tier III fault tolerant specifications, supporting resilient operations through redundant infrastructure and multiple layers of critical facility protection. Its cooling infrastructure utilizes closed loop waterless technology, reducing dependence on water based cooling systems while supporting the thermal requirements of high density computing environments. Power infrastructure includes dual utility grid connections supplied by Georgia Power, providing additional electrical redundancy for critical data center operations and supporting the campus’s substantial power requirements. Dedicated dark fiber interconnections provide high capacity connectivity between the campus, regional Atlanta peering points, and broader global network backbones, supporting low latency communication and large scale data movement.
