Project Overview

Microsoft Taoyuan (TPE03) is a hyperscale cloud data center facility forming part of Microsoft’s Taiwan Data Center Region infrastructure in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. Located along Lane 525, Taoying Road, the facility contributes to Microsoft’s broader cloud infrastructure footprint in northern Taiwan alongside the TPE01 and TPE02 sites. The campus is designed to provide computing, storage, networking, and cloud infrastructure for organizations requiring reliable access to Microsoft Azure services within Taiwan. Its regional deployment supports data residency requirements by enabling customers to keep applicable workloads and data within Taiwan, while local infrastructure can also reduce network distance between cloud applications and users located across the country. TPE03 supports enterprise cloud workloads including application hosting, data storage, backup, disaster recovery, analytics, and digital transformation services. Its hyperscale architecture enables computing resources to be deployed at large scale, supporting variable demand from enterprises, public sector organizations, financial institutions, and technology companies.
