NTT HKG1 Hong Kong: 53MW Financial Data Center Hyperscale Campus
Status: Operational | Location: 6 Chun Kwong Street, Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, N.T., Hong Kong
Project Overview
NTT Financial Data Center (HKG1 / FDC) is a flagship 53 MW data center campus located on a 30,000 m² company-owned site in the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, Hong Kong. Purpose-built to support mission-critical financial services, enterprise computing, cloud platforms, and high-performance digital workloads, the campus comprises two independent data center towers, FDC1 and FDC2, along with a dedicated command and control tower, providing more than 70,000 m² of gross floor space and capacity for over 7,000 server racks. Strategically positioned adjacent to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange hosting site, HKG1 is designed to deliver ultra-low-latency connectivity for financial institutions, trading platforms, and global enterprises. The facility features Tier IV-ready fault-tolerant architecture with 2N power redundancy, ensuring exceptional reliability and continuous availability for mission-critical operations. Supporting power densities of up to 24 kVA per rack, the campus is optimized for high-density computing environments. Advanced cooling infrastructure includes UPS-backed water-cooled chillers and Computer Room Air Handler (CRAH) units, delivering energy-efficient temperature management while maintaining operational resilience. Combined with comprehensive physical security, carrier-neutral connectivity, and strategic proximity to Hong Kong's leading financial ecosystem, NTT HKG1 is one of Asia's premier data centers for financial, cloud, and enterprise digital infrastructure.
