Project Overview
Open Access Data Centres’ OADC Lagos (LOS1) is West Africa’s flagship open-access, carrier-neutral data center campus, strategically located on a 4-hectare site in Lekki Peninsula II, Lagos, Nigeria’s leading commercial and digital economy hub. Designed to serve as a critical regional connectivity gateway, the campus delivers up to 26 MW of total site power across approximately 7,200 m² of technical whitespace, with capacity to support more than 3,200 high-density server racks. Purpose-built for hyperscale cloud providers, telecommunications operators, enterprises, financial institutions, and content delivery networks, OADC Lagos provides highly resilient infrastructure capable of supporting mission-critical applications, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and high-performance digital services. A defining feature of the campus is its direct integration with the Google Equiano subsea cable landing station, enabling ultra-low-latency international connectivity between West Africa, Europe, and South Africa while significantly increasing network capacity and reducing data transmission delays. The facility also offers open-access duct infrastructure connected to major terrestrial fiber networks, ensuring carrier-neutral connectivity and flexible network diversity for customers. With on-site access to the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN) and direct cloud on-ramps to leading public cloud platforms, organizations can establish efficient hybrid and multi-cloud environments with improved performance and reliability. Supported by resilient power systems, advanced cooling technologies, enterprise-grade physical security, and scalable infrastructure, OADC Lagos (LOS1) provides a future-ready digital platform that strengthens West Africa’s connectivity ecosystem and enables businesses to accelerate digital transformation, cloud adoption, and next-generation AI workloads across the region.
